Beef

Our cattle graze on Nebraska rangeland

Premium Beef

All of our beef is raised naturally with no hormones, pesticides or antibiotics. The cattle we use to produce beef are predominantly Angus/Hereford. They spend the majority of their life peacefully grazing forage.

Post slaughter our beef hangs/dry ages 21 days while most grocery store beef only hangs for a very short period of time. Processing plants need to butcher their beef quickly because they don’t have room to warehouse 21 days of beef. This hanging process tenderizes the meat and makes for a much better product. High end restaurants buy their beef that has been aged this way.

We also have significantly less shrinkage. Processing plants grind a lot of fat into their hamburger and some grind ice. If you cook a hamburger patty made from our beef next to a patty made from typical grocery store beef you will see there is no comparison. Our patty will mostly maintain its size while the other will shrink significantly as the fat/water cooks off. We did a hamburger patty weight experiment and our's weighed 40% more AFTER cooking. Pan cooking our hamburger for tacos and such will result in very little, if any, draining.
