Ichthys pork has been in the development stage for several years. Up until now we have gotten most of our pork from a neighbor who feeds his hogs next to his house, not in a confinement facility. The most important thing we learned from him is that Berkshire Pork is our favorite. It has been called the Wagyu of pork for its marbling, taste and tenderness. We recently acquired 6 Berkshire gilts and plan to A.I. them to a Berkshire boar and plan to produce the best pork available. They will be finished outside and not in a confinement facility as well. We sell pork in halves or wholes.
